Exploring Space

Space is a vast, empty expanse that exists beyond Earth. It contains everything from stars and planets to galaxies and comets. The universe is so big that we can’t even see all of it. Scientists use telescopes to study distant objects and learn more about space. In space, there is no air, which means no sound can travel. Temperatures can be extremely hot or cold, depending on where you are. Space is also home to black holes, which are regions with strong gravity. Exploring space helps us understand our place in the universe.

Stars

Stars are massive balls of gas that produce light and heat through nuclear fusion. They vary in size and color and are the building blocks of galaxies. Our Sun is a star that provides energy to Earth and supports life.

Planets

Planets are large celestial bodies that orbit stars. They can be rocky, like Earth and Mars, or gas giants, like Jupiter and Saturn. Each planet has unique features, and some, like Earth, can support life.

Galaxies

A galaxy is a huge system of stars, gas, and dust held together by gravity. The Milky Way is our galaxy, containing billions of stars and various celestial objects.
